Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The Free plan needs no card and has no expiry. You only add payment details when you choose to upgrade.
How does the 14-day Pro trial work?
+
You get full Pro access for 14 days before your card is charged. Cancel any time during the trial and you pay nothing. After the trial you're billed monthly or annually.
What counts as a "site"?
+
A site is a single deployment — one resolver token (for agentless DoH/DoT) or one agent installation. A home router is one site. An office network is one site. Each site has its own policy, blocklist, and telemetry stream.
Can I use my own AI API key?

Yes. Pro and Enterprise let you bring your own key for Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini. This keeps AI costs fully under your control. If you don't provide a key we use our shared Groq allocation at no extra charge.
Is there a SAMA-compliant option for KSA?

Yes — Enterprise plan. We deploy a dedicated instance on AWS Bahrain (me-south-1) so DNS query data stays in-region, and we provide a countersigned DPA plus SAMA alignment documentation. Contact us to discuss requirements.
What's the difference between agentless and agent-based?
+
Agentless: point your device's DNS to our resolver (DoH or DoT) — zero software, works on any device including iOS and Android. Agent-based: install our Rust binary on Linux or Windows for deeper system-level control and offline policy enforcement.
Can I cancel or downgrade at any time?

Yes. Cancel from the dashboard at any time. You keep Pro access until the end of the billing period, then drop to Free automatically. No cancellation fees. Your data is available for export for 30 days after downgrade.
Is the code auditable?
+
Yes. Tareeq is released under the Business Source Licence 1.1 — every line of code that handles your DNS queries is readable. Enterprise customers can request a private code review session.
